International Auditions will be held in Regina on September 21st, 2026 

Terms and conditions for the 2026-2027 Season for this position are: 

Season duration:  37 weeks   

Salary: $45,752.01 minimum for 2026-27 as per 2025-28 Collective Bargaining Agreement 

Benefits: 

  • 7.5% Musician’s Pension Fund of Canada contribution 
  • Group Insurance and benefit package including dental, drug coverage, life insurance, and disability insurance. Benefits extend to immediate family. 
  • $250 eyewear reimbursement per 2 calendar years 
  • Paid sick and compassionate leave 

Start Date: Winning candidate’s earliest availability 

Regina boasts a vibrant classical music scene, vitalized by its rich history and active cultural institutions. Established in 1908, the RSO is Canada’s oldest continuously performing orchestra, with the Regina Symphony Chamber Players serving as its full-time contingent.  It offers a diverse range of concerts each season reaching more than 30,000 audience members over 37 weeks.  The musicians of the Regina Symphony Orchestra are members of the Canadian Federation of Musicians.
