From the Podium
Some of the most powerful orchestral music of the last fifty years comes from film, and I love how instantly it connects us to memory and emotion. These scores are designed to set a mood and speak directly to how we feel, often before we even think about it. I’m especially looking forward to this program because I know how much joy it brings to audiences, and because it’s just as thrilling for us to perform on stage.
