Listen to Regina Symphony Music Director talk about the new RSO Chorus

Saskatchewan Weekend with Shauna Powers – Aug. 14, 2022: Regina Symphony Orchestra Launches a Chorus

A new addition to our musical team for the 2022-2023 season is the RSO Chorus, and leading our choir in song, is our new RSO Chorus Director, Dorianna Holowachuk. Choral singing is an incredible way to build a community, and the new chorus is an exciting opportunity for us to do just that. As we raise our voices together in some of the greatest music ever written, we are also doing something that makes our community stronger. Look for the RSO Chorus on stage for the RSO Christmas Special and Handel’s Messiah in December as well as Brahms Requiem in April.

If you would like to join the RSO Chorus, please contact the Chorus Director to schedule a voice placement or an audition.

If you missed the voice placements at the end of August 2022, there is still time to register for the RSO Chorus! For the 2022-23 season, singers interested in joining the RSO Chorus may book an appointment for a voice placement on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from October 18, 2022 to November 24, 2022. Please see the document entitled “22-23 RSO Chorus Voice Placement Information Package” for more information.
