ABLAZE VOCAL ARTS ENSEMBLE

Established in March 2023, Ablaze Vocal Arts Ensemble Inc. is a group of community choirs comprising Ablaze Vocal Arts Ensemble and Ignite Chamber Choir, founded and led by Artistic Director, Dorianna Holowachuk, and located on Treaty 4 Land in Regina, Saskatchewan. Ablaze Vocal Arts Ensemble is a non-auditioned mixed-voice adult community-based group, which rehearses once a week in Regina, SK. As an inclusive community ensemble, there is a heavy emphasis on learning musicianship skills within the context of the choral rehearsal. Ablaze VAE is suitable for singers of all experience and ability levels. While the ability to read music is an advantage, music literacy skills are not required to participate in Ablaze VAE. Ablaze VAE’s past projects include: a collaboration with Queen City Brass Band in December 2023, Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem with the RSO in June 2024, Home Alone: In Concert with the RSO in December 2025, and The Tenors’ Joy to the World Tour at Casino Regina in December 2023 and December 2025.
