This performance was originally planned for February and was moved to May 28. This happens to coincide with another exciting Regina event – The Cathedral Village Arts Festival Street Fair. The fair takes over 13th Avenue with musicians, craft vendors, and other activities. We are excited to be a part of it with a concert in the iconic building that the community was built around.
This concert will feature three selections – EWART Cueva de Villa Luz, BRUCH Concerto No.1 in G minor for Violin & Orchestra Op.26 and BEETHOVEN Symphony No.8 in F major Op.93. It will be about an hour long.
Matinee – 2 pm
The fair runs from 10 am to 5 pm which means the area and streets around the cathedral will be busy
Parking may be tough to find close to the Cathedral, as there is programming planned for the parking lot
Festival organizers advise walking or riding your bike.
There is a Bike and Stroller Valet service run by Holy Rosary School just north of the Cathedral in Holy Rosary Park. Parking is pay-what-you-can.
The fair will be busy so we invite you to check out the vendors, then make your way to the show. Doors will open at 1:30
If parking and walking in to the area is not an option for you, we can move your tickets to the evening performance.
Evening – 7:30 pm
The street fair will be over by 5 pm
Parking in the Cathedral Lot should be more easily accessed
by the evening
Doors to our concert open at 7:00
There are music performances taking place in the park beside the
cathedral throughout the evening
