The Regina Symphony Chamber Player (RSCP) collaborate with the Saskatchewan Youth Ballet to create a new work examining issues faced by today’s millennials. Regina-based spoken word artist, Dan Innes, brings his message of optimism backed by members of the RSCP. Frederic Rzewski minimalist masterpiece Coming Together concludes this program.

Former Barenaked Ladies frontman Steven Page joins the Regina Symphony Orchestra in a unique and eclectic program. This Canadian icon has become an outspoken advocate for mental health awareness and well-being by sharing his personal experiences, struggles and triumphs. Musicians of the RSO take centre stage in music by Tchaikovsky and My Name is Amanda Todd, a meaningful work by the festival’s featured composer Jocelyn Morlock.
Beethoven’s ode to nature is paired with a dramatic musical work by composer Neil Weisensel and librettist Suzanne Steele about Louis Riel’s lost years and his desire for ‘the heart of the north’ - the homeland.
